I finally started to setup my 'new' pc. I bought it initally when the tariffs were announced. It is a mini pc. The specs aren't the greatest - honestly, not muc better than my laptop. The biggest boon is that I can wipe Windows off my laptop and install Linux on it. I want to lean into my experience with Linux to squeeze as much juice out of hardware that I can. It will be important with Ai driving up the cost of hardware. I don't need a fancy desktop. I'd rather have a commandline with a mininal windowing system so system resources can go towards running programs.
